Multiverse lands $130M for apprenticeships

London-based Multiverse, a startup that matches employers with people seeking apprenticeships, raised $130 million in a Series C funding round led by D1 Capital Partners and BOND.

The latest fundraise follows a $44 million Series B the company raised in January amid plans for expansion to the United States.

The startup, which was founded in 2016 and previously known as WhiteHat, matches talent who have not graduated from college with apprenticeship opportunities at companies. Multiverse’s CEO is Euan Blair, the son of former United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Membersy raises $66M for subscription-based dentistry

Austin, Texas-based membersy closed a $66 million investment round from Spectrum Equity. The company offers subscription-based dentistry and provides dental practices with the marketing, payment and administration infrastructure technology to launch and grow their client base. Founded in 2015, the company has raised more than $100 million, according to Crunchbase data.

Acceldata snags $35M for data platform: Silicon Valley-based Acceldata, developer of a data observability platform for enterprises, raised $35 million in a new funding round led by Insight Partners. Founded in 2018, the company previously raised at least $10.6 million in known funding, per Crunchbase data.

Swan raises $19M for banking tools: Paris-based Swan, a startup developing tools to integrate banking features into products, raised 16 million euros ($19 million) in a Series A round led by Accel.
