Life insurance startup YuLife raises $70M

London-based YuLife, a provider of life insurance and policies providing income in the event of critical illness, raised $70 million in a Series B round led by Target Global. The financing reportedly sets a $346 million valuation for the 5-year-old company. In addition to insurance, the company’s employee-focused platform also offers member rewards for healthy behavior.

LinkSquares lands $40M

Boston-based LinkSquares, a provider of AI-powered contract management tools for in-house legal teams, raised $40 million in a Series B funding round led by Sorenson Capital. Founded in 2015, the company previously raised $21.5 million in venture funding, per Crunchbase data.

Fintech

Cardless picks up $40M: San Francisco-based Cardless, developer of a platform for creating branded credit cards, raised $40 million in a Series B funding round led by Activant Capital. The company markets its offering to sports teams and other brands with a large number of users or fans.
