India’s Oyo files for IPO

India-based budget hotel giant Oyo is planning to raise around $1.2 billion in a  public offering, according to a new filing with the Securities and Exchange Board of India.

Founded in 2013, Oyo has raised $4.1 billion in equity and debt financing since inception, with SoftBank as its largest backer. The company says it operates over 157,000 hotels and homes on its platform, with offerings across 35 countries.

PSPDFKit lands $116M

Vienna-based PSPDFKit, a provider of software development kits for document creation, reportedly raised $116 million in a funding round backed by Insight Partners. It is the first known investment to date for the company, which developers use for document processing features like e-signing, document viewing and editing.

Biotech

Latch Bio emerges from stealth with $5M: San Francisco-based Latch Bio, a startup building data infrastructure for biocomputing, announced it has raised $5 million in a seed round led by Lux Capital. The company also announced the launch of its web-based platform, which it says enables biologists to analyze CRISPR data without any code or cloud infrastructure setup.
