6sense hits $5.2B valuation after $200M Series E

San Francisco-based 6sense closed a $200 million Series E co-led by new investors Blue Owl and MSD Partners at a $5.2 billion valuation. The new round more than doubles 6sense’s valuation just 10 months after its $125 million Series D round.

The company also announced the acquisition of Saleswhale, an AI-driven conversational marketing platform. 6sense’s engagement platform helps sales and marketing teams engage with potential buyers.

The company has now raised a total of $426 million in funding.

Greenlabs nabs $140M

Seoul-based Greenlabs, a 5-year-old agtech startup that develops digital tools to help increase value production for farmers, raised $140 million in a Series C funding round led by BRV Capital Management and joined by SK Square and SkyLake Incuvest.

Plaid to acquire Cognito

Fintech unicorn Plaid announced that it is acquiring Cognito, an identity and verification platform for financial services. Terms weren’t disclosed, although TechCrunch reports Plaid paid around $250 million in stock and cash.

Funding rounds

Terra Quantum raises $60M: Zurich-based Terra Quantum, provider of a quantum computing platform used by industrial customers, announced it raised $60 million in a Series A funding round. Backers include several unnamed investors along with Swiss venture firm Lakestar.
