Adverity picks up $120M for analytics platform
Vienna-based Adverity, provider of a data and analytics platform for marketing, sales and e-commerce teams, raised $120 million in a new financing round backed by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and joined by existing investor Sapphire Ventures.
Founded in 2015, Adverity previously raised over $45 million in known funding. The company said it has recorded customer growth of 120 percent in the last 12 months.
India’s Rapido raises $52M
Rapido, a bike taxi aggregator in India, raised $52 million in a Series C round backed by Shell Ventures, Yamaha, and others. The company promotes its app-based service for bike taxis as a way to dodge the traffic during peak hours.
Roblox Acquires Guilded
Newly public gaming company Roblox said Monday that it acquired Guilded, a platform that connects gamers through voice chat, video chat and scheduling tools. Guilded competes with the likes of Discord, which is popular among gamers who want to communicate while they play. Guilded has raised at least $10.2 million in funding from investors including Susa Ventures and Initialized Capital, according to Crunchbase. Roblox seems to be investing in new ways to connect gamers, as the company also announced that it acquired social video conferencing platform Bash Video last week.

BrainQ lands $40M: Israel-based BrainQ, developer of a device for stimulating damaged parts of the brain to promote self-repair, reportedly raised $40 million in fresh funding to take its technology to market.
