Wisk locks up $450M from Boeing
Mountain View, California-based Wisk, a developer of self-flying air taxis, closed a $450 million funding round from The Boeing Co. The company plans on using the new cash to push development of its Wisk’s 6th generation eVTOL aircraft—an autonomous, all-electric, passenger-carrying aircraft.

ConstructSecure Raises $96M
ConstructSecure, a platform for managing construction capital projects, raised $96 million in growth capital, led by Summit Partners.
The financing comes after the Burlington, Massachusetts-based company has more than doubled its headcount over the course of the last 12 months and expanded its footprint across the U.S.
Founded in 2008, ConstructSecure has not previously raised venture or growth financing, per Crunchbase data.

Bitcoin slumps to six-month low
Bitcoin slumped almost 9 percent to around $33,000 in morning trading, the lowest point since July, and more than 50 percent below the $69,000 high it hit in November. Smaller cryptocurrencies also fell, including ether, which was down steeply in morning trading.

NFT Investments to acquire Pluto Digital: NFT Investments, an incubator specializing in NFTs, announced it has entered into a nonbinding agreement to acquire Pluto Digital, a crypto technology and venture company, for £96 million ($130 million). Pluto invests in and develops crypto technologies in the decentralized finance and metaverse blockchain gaming sectors. NFT Investments trades on the U.K.’s Aquis Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol NFT.
